Hi,

Yesterday a consultant could not log in, and send me this screenshot;

Sometimes there are these problems and the login page throws an error like this. ‘Failed_to_fetch_user’, or 'could not reach meta url’ also fairly common.

It would be nice if there is a docs page where all errors that can occur are explained. This makes it easier to look in the right direction. A consultant doesn't understand these and if therefor depends on a developer. And even then.. this is also quite vague for a developer - where to begin and what to do?

Might make lives easier.

Or even better, instead of a technical error the GUI should give the user a readable error.
If we can create a docs to explain these errors then we can also make the error user friendlier. An error should point to user towards the solution, not confuse the user with technical information.

@Blommetje Often we don’t want to disclose specifics to end users, due to it giving away security-related information. But agreed that the error message should be clear about the next step and that we could improve the Docs on this.

Please raise this as a ticket in TCP for the Docs team.
