Copy value in list copies the entire record

When we select the value of a column in a list and paste it, the entire record is copied to the clipboard. Can we make it so that only the selected part of the record is copied?

 

Should i create an idea for this or is this something you cannot influence in the Universal GUI?

This is a known issue and is on our backlog to solve in a future release.
