As far as I know, it’s not actually possible to disable the interval at which the badge is updated. However, you could specify a very high interval — it’s a field with the INT data type, so you can set it to a very large value. Would that suffice?
@Jeroen van den Belt Thanks for the information. That does answer my question and the suggested option to reduce the refresh frequency would be a workable solution as well.
