Dear all,

Has anyone done a move of the Web GUI scheduler Extender to the Universal GUI ?

Can you provide instructions on how to move over from one to the other ?

Is it seemless or we need to re-implement it ?

Thank you

Hello,

Unfortunately the scheduler in the Universal GUI is based on new concepts and is incompatible with the Windows and Web GUI extender settings. So a re-implementation is indeed needed to get a scheduler running in the Universal GUI.

A new Screen called 'Schedulers’ became available in the 2023.1 SF where this new scheduler can be configured. If you have any further questions please let us know.

Kind Regards,

Roel

Hi @Roel,

We are looking into the configuration of the scheduler as we had it previously in WEB gui so that the same or similar can be implemented in Universal GUI. We have identified so far the below that we opened as ideas which are missing in Universal GUI Scheduler:

Also seeing from documentation the below are also beneficial for us and should be implemented as well:
https://docs.thinkwisesoftware.com/docs/sf/scheduler

Not yet available:

  • Double-click events, for instance, tasks or appointments. → Idea above
  • Double-click time cells.→ Idea above
  • Drag & drop an external row, for instance, from a grid.

If more are identified will be placed here in comments.
