Hi Djoeke,
Thanks for your idea about adding a process action to open the lookup control. I’d like to clarify what you’re aiming for, so we can determine the best solution.
– Do you actually need a full process flow (with an action, process step, conditions, etc.) to open the lookup control?
– Or are you mainly looking for a quick way or hotkey to open the lookup control — ideally something users could configure themselves, without needing a separate process action?
If it’s mainly about quick access, we should look into the possibility of handling that directly in the standard functionality, which would be simpler and easier to maintain than setting up a full process flow.
Could you let me know which of these fits your use case best? Then we can explore the most suitable approach together.
Best regards,
Ester
Hi Ester,
Yes it's mainly about quick access! Exactly what you say about users configuring a hotkey. Then something in the standard functionality would be ideal.
Thanks for your reply,
Djoeke

@Djoeke Helsloot In that case, let's not deal with this as a new Idea, but please raise a Ticket in TCP instead. We should provide a means to open the popup for a multiline/HTML field with the keyboard.
NOTE: Have updated the topic type from Idea to Question.
