When synchronizing a project to the Intelligent Application Manager, a grid column that was explicitly marked to be in a new, empty group would incorrectly join the previous grid column group.
This has been resolved with a hotfix for the Software Factory versions 2019.1 to 2020.2.
For the change to take effect on incorrectly joined grid groups, re-synchronizing after applying the hotfix is necessary.
