When starting the Windows GUI the language is read from the ini file language section to display the login screen in the selected language.

When the parameter is not present the login screen is displayed in the language that the language that was used to install the language (as explained in

https://community.thinkwisesoftware.com/questions-conversations-78/windows-gui-login-screen-default-language-5356

)

This is not logical to my users (that use different languages for their windows and are all installed with the same language).

I would propose to ether change this behavior so that in case the ini file does not dictate what language to use for the login screen that

  • Use the language that is set to the current users language or
  • Make an special language option that triggers the application to read the current users language to display the login screen

This will make the Windows GUI more versatile in environments where users with different language defaults can use the Thinkwise windows applications in there preferred language.
