+9We will use this wish as input in a project in which we will make variants more 'important' to the point where you can perform autorisation on individual variants instead of just the base tables.
When we consider variants as an object in itself (eg a type of a table), we will also assess whether this wish can be included in this project. Hope to have informed you enough.

Interesting to know what the status is.
Am interested to use a variant to dynamically disable the commit and cancel buttons and insert tasks for next and previous to create a wizard.
