In most cases that we use badges, the badge is the number of lines on the screen based on certain active prefilters. If something changes in the definition in one of those prefilters, the developer has to remember to check the badge code and make the equivalent change there.
To reduce this maintenance, I would like the option to model a badge as a combination of prefilters on the table/view and that the SF generates the badge code from this.
Of course it should still be possible to write own badge code for exemptions.
