In the idea below it is suggested to have translations for role name and description available in the IAM. The idea has been implemented and released. However, in the SF only translation objects for the role name are available not the description. Instead the description is copied directly from the role description in the SF.

I would like to suggest that also the translation objects for the role description are made available. Anothher option would be to display the tooltip of the role as the description of the role. The translation object of the role has a tooltip. As the roles in the iam are shown as grid items the tooltips are not used.
Our application has an extensive role structure. Also the application is used more and more internationally. Having a good description in combination with the role name would decrease our support efforts regarding roles as it enables a key user of the application to manage the most of it.
