I would like indicium to have support for managed identity in Azure.

Managed Identity is a way to prevent to have usernames/passwords in the appsettings.json and therefor to have less risc of hacking.

I’am also interested in this this option. This is a very nice solution for the Microsoft Azure Platform.


My colleague at Thinkwise found out you can use the Application Settings of the Azure WebApp where Indicium Universal is installed. This way the appsettings.json does not need to have any credentials stored in plaintext.
