Since iOS 14 also iPhone supports the Web Authentication API, Android supports this a little longer already. This functionality allows users to login on a website (or Progressive Web App) using their device-registered authentication methods (f.e. PIN / FaceID / Fingerprint).

It is especially useful for mobile users, who need a quick ánd secure way to access our application. For example for field operations personnel that has to retrieve information for their next assignment, or has to register hours/activities.

It would be great if Universal/Indicium support this authentication flow as well, enabling a more frictionless sign-in!
