Currently when creating a reference the lookup checkbox is activated by default. For a table this makes sense. For a view I believe this should not be the default. From a performance perspective it's better to directly get the value you need instead of getting the ID and using a lookup to get the value. When using a lookup on a view this should be a careful decision instead of the default.
