I often get confused in the universal GUI when I can't find an entry in a subject. In the windows gui if you have a prefilters that are active they are shown in the screen, even if they were previously hidden behing the dropdown. In universal they stay hidden behind the 3 dots.
I would suggest universal to work like windows or else make some kind of visual indication that there are non shown prefilters active.
difference in universal and windows when activating 3 prefilters that are at first not visible:
windows: the prefilters become visible
universal: the prefilters are still hidden
