It would be a good addition to be able to set the required retention time in the model, this would save building custom after upgrade scripts to set the retention time after the fact.

We are working on it in the current sprint, which means that this feature will be included in the 2024.3. The idea mentioned above, that this idea has been merged into, has been updated accordingly.
