It depends: in that case they only need to be stored (encrypted) in one place, instead of multiple post-its with low encryption (if you can call my handwriting 'encryption') 🙂

I wish to save credentials (HOST, DATABASE, UID) per environment (TEST, PROD, etc..) , so that it can be selected in the Synchronize popup.
