Be able to assign a quick button to take you directly to "Search". For example assign "F1" button, when pressed,  to take you to "Search"

     @Erik Brink it would be useful to alsoassign any key (not only F1 key) to take you to specific parts on the Grid View. For example if we have Multiple Tabs within the Grid View, to be able to assign F1 to F10 keys to open that tab (instead of using a mouse to click on the tab you want).

        In Universal version 2026.2.14+, we introduced the [Ctrl + K]  keyboard shortcut to bring you to the search box of the focused subject.

        Also, the search box of the menu has it's own dedicated keyboard shortcut [Alt + M], so that you can reach the menu, regardless of your position in the UI.

        In this example, the focus is on the Search box of ‘Default’ within the ‘Subjects’ tab

        The shortcuts are added as placeholder text in the search boxes, to help your users quickly find their way!

        Also, we introduced the new Proces Action 'Activate search’. With this process action, you can bring the focus back to the Search. This can be a very powerful tool to end a process flow and let the urser return to a central point in the UI.

        ​@Spyros.Neofytou, you can use F6 to navigate to different components in the screen.
