We are looking at 2 data have applications where we rely heavily on the filter options and filter-form functionality. When you have a filter-form the use of pre-filters is not user friendly, as they are not visually synced.. I would really love to see them
- visually synced (so filter form shows what is pre-filtered)
- pre-populate the filter form, so you always see what is filtered out.
B would be my preferred solution, as it enables you give a default filter to the form that a user can easily change without getting the full load.. this is what usually happens when they first turn off a pre-filter. (depending of course on the behaviour of your pre-flter group.
