Via the Windows GUI it was possible to create onw prefilters, which were on “by default” (if on at last use, then these were on next time view was opened).

+13I have changed the title and put ‘own’ within brackets, as I’d say it would be valuable to have the ability for every Prefilter on every Subject to determine the default On/Off state.
I also like the idea of adding/selecting your own Icon.
Related Idea we should consider when implementing this:
+5Update: from upcoming Universal version 2026.2.14.0, the last active state of user defined prefilters will be remembered over new sessions, reopening the document.
Also a newly created prefilter will be active by default.
We hope this helps to satisfy the needs for users in the short-term. We will keep this idea open for the follow-up.
