Mobile APP show numeric keyboard when numeric lookup

When using a numeric field as lookup in a table with a numeric ID, the mobile APP default comes up with the alphanumeric keyboard and users always need to switch to show the numeric keys on top of the Alphanumeric keyboard. It would be great if the APP 'knows' that a numeric input is required and default shows the numeric keyboard.
