Let input for Time Short domain be more graceful

Currently, when we use the Time Short control on a domain, entering data has to be done by entering numbers separated with a colon. It would be nice if a regular period (or perhaps no period at all) would also be accepted and neatly converted to a correct time format by the GUI. That would make data entry a bit more user-friendly, because then it would also be easier to work with numpad, for example.

Hi Bram,

Current implementation does not require the user to use any separator to indicate the time parts:

Enter time without separator

The GUI will automatically format it the correct way. Dots are currently indeed not translated to the correct separator.

Okay i missed that, that's great! 
I think users accustomed to using numpad might still try to use a period, which results in the field being emptied out, so the idea still stands for me, but with less priority then i originally thought.
