The HTML control in the Universal is very limited, a user cannot do anything HTML like. It would hugely increase its value when it's something like there in the forum, where you can do text layouts including colors, links, quotes etc…

We would really like this functionality as well. At least an image upload feature would be great.

I can see it's currently in the review state internally. I cannot yet give a release date.

Nice! I'll make sure to bookmark that thread ;)

Pasting and editing images and tables, among other things, has been possible for a few months now.

Providing buttons in the editor for these elements or additional formatting is on our backlog.

FYI: We're currently working on supporting the following in the HTML Control:

  • Font & Size
  • Paragraph
  • Text alignment
  • Table
  • Links
  • Image selector

We don't intend to include all features the Windows GUI HTML Control has to offer, but please do let us know if you desperately need something that is not mentioned.

These are the supported options we intend to release by end of the Sprint. Even Comic Sans can be used, hope you like it! 😁

Improved version released with Universal GUI 2024.3.12.

NOTE: we found that in some instances Copy/Paste for Images doesn't work since introducing the Image upload button in the improved version of Universal GUI 2024.3.12. This can particularly happen with using a Snipping tool or other non-browser source Copy action. We'll have this resolved with Universal GUI 2024.3.13.
