Find and reuse screen type

If a model uses many screen types, it takes much more time to find an existing and applicable screen type for a new table than to create a new one. I can’t search for something like a screen with the list on the left, the form on the right, no tabs, with filters, and no tasks. This means that the number of screen types continues to grow, which negatively affects maintainability and the consistency of the user interface. It would help for example, if I could click through a list of designs/screen layouts.

Hi Thijs,

I like your idea. Finding the correct screen type can indeed be a challenge.

Perhaps it would be cool to introduce a search screen similar to the Thinkstore screen:

I will open your idea for votes.

We’ve introduced a form list in the 'Screen types' screen, which serves as a filter for screen component types. This helps you quickly find an existing screen type that contains the selected screen component types.
