When using the standard excel import functionality, all dates in the excel file are shown in the same date time format. Even when the excel only contains a date, a time is added to it. This results in harder to read date fields.
It would be nice if the date field in the import functionality would reflect the actual data in the excel.
We will check what formatting info we can get out of the Excel-sheet and send to the UI to improve the value formatting. At this point the Excel column is not mapped to a subject column yet, so we can not make use of the column/domain settings we know from the model in the SF.
We will discuss internally.
