When copying a table in the SF the references are not copied, however the indexes that are used for the references are. These indexes no longer make sense since you don't have the reference on the new table. So please remove these when copying a table.

Hi @Erwin Ekkel,

We have discussed your idea together but the matter is much broader than explained here. It's more about the general behavior when copying objects. Currently when copying objects, all generated properties of an object are copied to the new object and made non-generated. This may be undesirable in some situations.

The idea should be more focused on how to deal with generated objects. So we would like to know and answer to the following question:

How should the Copy object tasks deal with generated properties of an object?

  1. Always copy generated properties and also let them stay generated;
  2. Always copy generated properties but make then non-generated;
  3. Not copying any generated properties
  4. All of partially of the above but configurable inside the task

I'll tag the voters for their answer:

We have plans in our product development department to speak about this subject, regardless of whether its mentioned here. Since no further response has been received regarding the desired solution, I will close this topic here. If anyone still wishes to provide input for our discussions, they can still do so here.
