When the number of rows to be checked with a checkbox is limited, or there is a single checkbox, it may be visual more attractive to the user to display a checkbox as an icon (different icon when checkbox = Yes or checkbox = No).

+5This would indeed be a nice control type to have as an alternative to the checkbox or using two radio buttons. The form translation would be used as the text on the toggleable button.
Checkboxes can enter an indeterminate state when the value is not true or false but empty. I'm not quite sure yet how this control type would be able to visually distinguish between false and empty. Any ideas?
