Different settings for import/export on detail/subject

Can you provide an example of the use case for this idea? This gives us somewhat more context when assessing the idea (and perhaps helps in gathering votes 😀).

The example would be that we have a detail view per customer for a list of let's say product groups. We want it not to be possible to do an import/export of this data here. However we want to support a bulk import for the product groups, only not in the detail of a customer.

It might actually be possible via variants. I was thinking in a specific direction and did not think of variants… Crap. You can close this idea.

Alright, not a problem. I agree that you should be able to accomplish this behavior using variants. I’ll close the idea.
