I've noticed that snackbar messages tend to disappear quite quickly, often before the user has enough time to fully absorb the information, especially when the message contains a lot of text. Increasing the size of the message using custom CSS has helped somewhat.

However, is there a way to control the duration of snackbar messages? If not, I would like to raise this as an idea.

As an alternative solution, it would also be useful if end-users could review previous snackbar messages somewhere.

The suggested alternative is the way to go. IAM already has a messaging system, so shouldn’t be that hard. @Bart Metselaar as mentioned in our call.

Especially this would be a great addition as well. When I gave the IAM message a try, I thought it did not work as I was just looking away when it happened.

Combined with a duration option and an indicator to show old and new messages, will make the feature  a lot more viable.
