To make me model 10 times faster: when I type in a search field in SF, SF starts searching and blocks me from entering more or correct my search string. SF makes me wait, sometimes quite a long time. I cannot upload an example screen video: me misspelling ‘article’ in Model content > Columns and having to wait for 20 seconds. Would be nice when SF cancels the search when I am still typing.
+23This is due to the synchronous nature of the Windows GUI. When performing a search, the GUI locks and performs the action. Once finished, you can navigate again.
The Model content > Columns screen shows an overview of all columns in your branch which can certainly take a while if you have a lot of column. Also all look-ups and expression columns have to be calculated for each found column.
The described problem is no longer a problem once we support the Software Factory on the Universal GUI. This is currently forecasted for 2025.2.. Is this sufficient for now?
