A strike through is a perfect way to show users that something has been deleted, or is discarded for another reason.

Besides having the option to show data in a different way (with which I agree) I do have my reservations about deleted/discarded data with a strikethrough.

In my experience, showing data with a strikethrough has its consequences (the line can make certain characters hard to read, also the extra line makes data less visible in itself).

What problem do you want to solve for your users by showing data with a strikethrough instead of placing deleted/discarded records behind a filter/dedicated subject?

We are implementing Strikethrough and Underline, as well as Font size as additional Conditional formatting options.
