In the past, when we used the WebGUI, we used the IAM Action Analysis. After switching to the Universal GUI we can't get any data from the Action Analysis in the IAM. For us, as a ISV, it is valuable for us to know how our application is used by our customers and users.
We like to use this functionality to analyse the use of objects to prioritise optimisation of screens and tasks for the Universal GUI.
Both conclusions combined with the current priorities make that we don’t expect any progress on this topic during this calendar year.
In the meantime, we can recommend using Application Insights for those of you who are on Azure.
I also have a client that is eager to see the user action analysis and they are not working in the cloud but on-premise.
They are specifically interested in what screens and tasks are being used by the users. Not so much in the recommendations by the system. They want to use the data to help prioritize what parts of the application to improve/optimize first.
Any chance those actions can be logged separately?

While this is not as perfect as the logging of user actions in IAM, I would still recommend using the application log (Application log | Thinkwise Documentation) so you could already measure tasks/handlers/etc..
The opening of screens can’t be measured with the current capabilities. However, if you are mainly interested in the opening of the menu items itself, you could as a workaround (dynamically) create a task for each menu item that just opens the corresponding table/view with a process flow.
