One of the default validations of the Software Factory is to check if some objects of the model are no longer in use. This includes the screen types.

With the introduction of the Universal GUI and Breakpoints this validation needs to be updated because the screen types with specific breakpoints are never in use, but instead chosen based on screen type of the subject and the resolution of the screen in use.

This results in a big lists of screen types ‘not in use’ which is clearly not the case because they are variations of screen types which are in use.

Hello @Kevin Horst,

in the latest SF 2020.2 release, breakpoints are assigned to screen types in the “breakpoint” tab page under the screen type form. This replaced the way of creating breakpoint screen types by including “<” in the screen type name.

Did this solve the situation as described in your idea?
