A simple idea, but we’ve encountered a situation where a model tag for web connections could be useful.

In our situation, we’ve defined tags in the description of the web connection endpoint and in the description of its input parameters. I can imagine that having tags available at all detail levels could also be useful in the future.

Hi @Kevin Rosink,

Just Web connections, or also Web connection parameters, Endpoints, and all details of that?

Could you elaborate on the use case?

Hi @Mark Jongeling

In our situation, we’ve defined tags in the description of the web connection endpoint and in the description of its input parameters. So in our case, that would be sufficient (the endpoint and its input parameters).

However, I can imagine that having tags available at all levels could also be useful in the future.

In the 2026.1, tag details have been added to the Web connection screen and its details, allowing you to provide information that is not available in the Software Factory's meta model.
