Currently, we have multiple applications that allow users to add/upload photos using the camera. While this is great, we also want the ability to make annotations (add circles, arrows, lines etc.) after taking a picture.

The default functionality available on iOS/Android is perfect; however, in the Universal GUI, the only option is to select 'Use this picture.'

The same question here, but then for PDF documents and within the Universal environment. One of our requirements is the ability for end-users to be able to annotate documents, like mentioned by PatrickW, including marking/highlighting tekstfragments and own text additions.

Could an alternative be a replacement of the default PDF viewer component (DevExpress) by a viewer with those capabilities? If possible, how could this be achieved?
