Since the recent update 2023.1, we've been facing some issues with SVG files in the Universal GUI. Apparently, the update removed some safety guards on SVGs in combo images, which makes poorly formatted SVGs give different results.
As developers, we want to make our lives easier when it comes to working with SVGs. Right now, we have to manually check every SVG file to ensure that the height and width dimensions are included in the datafile. It's quite a hassle, and we're sure you can relate to that!
So, we thought it would be awesome if you could add a new feature to the Universal GUI that automatically extracts the dimensions from the SVG file. That way, we can make sure that our SVGs display correctly in the Universal GUI without having to spend a lot of time and effort checking each file.
We believe that adding this feature would save us a lot of time and improve the overall user experience of the platform. What do you think? We'd love to hear your thoughts on this!
