Hey there, Since the recent update 2023.1, we've been facing some issues with SVG files in the Universal GUI. Apparently, the update removed some safety guards on SVGs in combo images, which makes poorly formatted SVGs give different results. As developers, we want to make our lives easier when it comes to working with SVGs. Right now, we have to manually check every SVG file to ensure that the height and width dimensions are included in the datafile. It's quite a hassle, and we're sure you can relate to that! So, we thought it would be awesome if you could add a new feature to the Universal GUI that automatically extracts the dimensions from the SVG file. That way, we can make sure that our SVGs display correctly in the Universal GUI without having to spend a lot of time and effort checking each file.We believe that adding this feature would save us a lot of time and improve the overall user experience of the platform. What do you think? We'd love to hear your thoughts on this!Regards,B
Hey there,I have recently encountered an error - which might seem like a bug - about a look-up column. In this case we have a sounding date which I would like to attach to a report. Therefore I would like to see the most recent time up until the seconds, which was also confirmed, by a third party. So the column itself has a control type - date, but in the GUI this will be set to varchar, which ends up like thisThis is not the most charming. So I came up with a 2nd option, by adding a new column to this specific table with a varchar domain. Is there maybe a better approach not having the date-time-short domain converted to varchar?
Hello,I am reaching out regarding a validation error that I am experiencing. Trying to make my with a Process Flow. I am open to more solutions!Kind regards,Balazs Szeder
Hi there,I’m using the notification functionality (https://docs.thinkwisesoftware.com/docs/iam_dev/analysis) to send a notification to all active users on IAM, before I execute an update so they can save whatever they were doing. Now the active users will get the snack bar notification, but that the problem is that it can be overlooked ergo you miss the warning. That is why I would like to have a pop up message instead of a snack bar and the possibility to press ok, before you continue with working. Is it possible to change the type of message that’s being used in this notification logic? Kind regards,Balazs Szeder
