Deployment package generation via IndiciumOn the backlog

Primary idea:Currently when you want to create deployment package for a application you have the ability to choose a database or a specific point in history.What i would like to propose is an ability to login to an indicium service tier to retrieve the current version.So you don’t have to query the product info table and figure out what version currently is running on that database/environment. The ability to always connect to a SQL Server directly may not always be the case. So you would like to generate a package for an application management party to deploy.

Print CSS to enable the ability to print grids on universalOpen

In the web-technology there is an option to create a print css file, that is used when you print a page.Most browsers co-operate with this feature:<link rel="stylesheet" media="print" href="print.css" />My suggestion is to enable this option and in that css file to hide the taskbar, combined filter, tabpages. And make it a bit optimized to print a grid. This way you can quickly print a grid to a PDF (or actually to paper).

Ability to the run a deployment in the deployment center via Indicium servicetierOpen

As an appendix on a previous idea i reported (generating a deployment package based on indicium).I would like to deploy and sync iam via indicium in the deployment center instead of directly connecting to the database server locally.

Quick generation for one table which you made changes onOn the backlog

My idea is based on a way to speed up development by generating one table with his depdencies likes context, defaults and layouts. So you can quickly see a result in the end-product.For example, you have a table and you made a typo in a field. You quickly would like to correct this to continue the development process.Currently you have to generate the complete project and validate and execute the codegroups on deployment screen. And you result in creating a new version.Why not a quick generation button for a particulair table which you can use to just re-generate this table and drop/re-create the table.

Add description field of the reference on the reference popup in the SFCompleted

The references in the SF contain a field to save a description. I would like to see that description onto the reference popup in the data modeler, so people are encouraged to enter a little description for the reference.  And i would like to see the description field to be mandatory when you differ from the default settings in the Integrity section of the popup. So you consider why you are enable or disable a feature (such as the integrity Check).

Dependency check in the Deployment Center interfaceOpen

What i would like to see in the deployment center is a menu option to check the installed packages/dependencies needed to run the Indicium/Universal/Webinterface/Windows GUI.So i would like to see:Dependency check, with checkboxes what you want to verify: [ ] Indicium Basic [ ] Indicium Universal [ ] Universal [ ] Web Interface [ ] Windows Interface And when you run that check you get a page in the menu where you can see what is needed (ie. a Grid).For example:Is .NET Hosting Bundle 6 installed [ YES / NO ] - [URL to download the hosting Bundle]I've noticed that not always people read the our Docs and get weird notifications during installations.

I would like to be able to bookmark my current documents within the universal guiOpen

I would like the ability to save my current screen as a bookmark in my browser (with filters/combined filtering e.t.c. just the current state). So i can revert back to that page. Not by “deeplinking”, but the behaviour that web Outlook 365 has when you switch between folders. This means i could also use my back and forward buttons in the browser. For example i would like to see this happening when switching to a different document:When i switch back to “applicaties” i would like it to see it like this:I think this would improve the usability on the interface.

Make data modelling part of the review processMerged

As a reviewer I would like to be able to view all changes to the data model and accept them or reject them with comments. This is because I run into some cases where fellow developers have made some mistakes designing the data model. (for example, wrong use of keys, references etc). One can dispute that things like keys, names, etc would pop-up when you review the sub names and validations. But sometimes it checks all the boxes of the validations but still is not a data model where you as a reviewer can agree up-on. So I would like to see something like the Code review screen but then for data modelling. And maybe include in that screen the use of the on a detail screen sub names and show relevant validations.

Display Combo/Radio elements as stars in form (and maybe list)Open

To make it easier for users to rate some values in our application, we give a value between 1 till 5. So we would like to give the option to rate with stars.   Basically the value on the database is ‘4’ for both. Would it be possible to create a control in the GUI to display elements like this? The amount of stars can be the amount of elements you add to the domain. Condition is that the elements should have a increasing number on.

Let the SF automaticly upload reports after saving in CR (2020.2 reports in DB)On the backlog

In the 2020.2 version the reports are stored in the database, when you make a change to a report you basicly need to download the report and re-upload it to the sf model. This seems fairly easy to do. Yet its quickly missed (by me for example) that you need to do this.For example: In a SQL Code bit, when you open that in SQL management studio and save it. It will automaticly insert the new version of the code into the SF model. So why is the user experience different with reports? Feels a bit off that you need to edit the report  record in the SF, remove the report and then find the just editted report in your “Temp” folder (because thats where the SF stored it meanwhile you opened it). And re-upload it.

Add a checkbox to the software factory reference popup to set the reference as No CheckOpen

The option no-check on references is something that we could use when applying a reference on a table that contains historic data from a old-application. For example you can only migrate the headings of invoices to the new system but no invoice lines. You do want that new invoices created in the system you are creating has a check constraint that is validated. But for old-data you want it not to apply. For this reason SQL implemented the No Check option on references…  What i would like to see is a checkbox on the reference box where you can set the reference to be as a No Check reference.  Why do i want this? Well i've seen many projects where people just toggle of the Integrity check on the reference. But do not consider that database could get corrupted when something goes wrong. Fixing missing data is harder dan solving the problem when the check constraint gives an error.

Possibility to tell model to hide/disable a task when no row is selectedCompleted

I would like to have the ability to tell the model to hide or disable a task when you do not have a row selected. Now when you create a task that needs variables/values from a table you need to write a context to hide/disable the task when you do not have a row selected. This happens when you start with a empty table for example. It will save time to just have to tell the model to disable/hide the task when you do not have a row selected. In some instances you do want to be able to open the task (for example to create a record), but most tasks are related to the tab task parameters you enter.

Add an option for Indicium to return null values in its responseMerged

Optional fields do not show on Indiciums output when they are empty. Is it possible to setup a setting in the Indicium conifiguration that all empty values will be displayed in the JSON response?
