Unit tests are great way to test API's however, our API's have the declared parameter @error_msg. Because this is the same parameter as declared in the unit test code all of our API's get the same failed message for their unit test: This is probably a more common problem, because @error_msg is a widely used parameter. Can this parameter be changed to a more uncommon one, specific for unit testing probably?
We would like to see information regarding the domains of the mock data. When entering the data it is not clear what you can enter in the forms. Sometimes you have to enter an element number of a domain, or just an int or varchar. It would also be nice to have an field after the form where you can add notes regarding the data entry.
At this moment we are trying to implement unit testing in our process. However, we encounter several problems. The biggest problem we encounter is preparing the mock data, because it’s very time consuming. Is there anyone who could explain me what would be best practice for inserting mock data in the Software Factory. What we experience is that it is difficult and not user friendly to insert data values into a data row. It costs us a lot of time to insert this data, and it is not very clear what foreign keys are of the table and the domains of the values. So, all tips and best practices would be very helpful.
While you can choose the unit test type ‘Subroutine’ (i.e. functions and procedures), the analysis of unit test program object coverage does not take functions into account. This should be added to the cube.
The filter on the cube view does niet give the expected results. How is this possible? See image below, the filtered results are in the range until - 10.000, however, I see different results. It does not matter if the check ‘apply to specific level’ is on. Could anyone help me with this odd situation?
Hi, We are implementing unit tests and want to keep track of our progress. However, we have several unit tests with the unit test type 'Subroutine’. This unit test type is not taken into account in the analysis. How can we keep track of our subroutines (i.e. functions and procedures) in the different cubes? The unit test types: And the code groups show in the cubes:
We have some troubles with the automatic license renewal. All environments are registered and running on IAM 2020.2. The application pool has the correct settings; always running and idle timeout 0. However, every 2 months we have to start the indicium manually to retrieve the correct license. What are we missing?
Is there anyone who knows how to solve this problem? The error message appears only for 1 person we currently know of.
