When using a Cardlist the columns are not responsive. Example if you have a description of a product of say 70 characters and you use a small size screen that you would want the descrption to be displayed over two lines. Now the last characters are not visible. Now it’s not responsive
In the userinterface of our application we have use background colors via a conditional layout. It would be helpful to the user if you could connect some text to the conditional layout which appear if you hover over the field on which the conditional layout is applied. So then user can instantly see what the color means.
When printing a report using the reporting service there's a parameter for the number of copies to print. I'm missing a parameter to select the paper source (tray). I want to print some document on blanc paper and others on letterhead paper on the same printer. Is there a way to do this? Thanks Eric
The order and width etc is now defined in subject-components-grid or form in TSF. When you are adjusting this to your needs you are continuously switching between TSF and the end user test environment. It would save a lot of time if instead of typing in the width etc, there is a sort of screen painter where you see what you get and use your moude to move the order or width of a field etc.
When a user leaves the application, I want to add a record in the database. I thought a possible solution might be to create some functionality that calls a procedure when a user exits the application. Is that possible or is there another solution for this?
Since the 2020.2 version reports are stored in the database in stead of in a directory. As far as I know the reporting service stil requires that the report is stored in a directory. The stored procedure rpt_get_reports now needs a parameter report_file_spec.You should be albe to use a report from a IAM database. Then it would be required to declare a connection string for the IAM database in the INI file of the reporting service. As extra parameters in the stored proc rpt_get_reports the project_id, version_idid (if nulll then use last version..) and reportname are needed
I need this sometimes. The workaround is to create a seperate task with the same templates, but that is not the most ideal solution
I’ve created an new Crystal Reports report. When I open this from my development PC it’s working proper (see print screen below) But when the user starts this from the test environment, from a different PC, the database name is not filled. The following screen pops up: When I check the debugger, I notice that the database is filled (see print screen below), the same goes for my other Crystal Reports reports. Am I missing something? Maybe some settings in Crystal Reports?
We created a report in Crystal Reports which we want to export to xlsx format and not to xls format. Is this possible? We want to do this because after generating several Excel files using the Thinkwise reporting Service we want to combine them as separate worksheets in one excel file. The component we use for this needs to have xlsx and not xls.
