At this moment you can only add values to the cube filter which need to be included in the cube. If you want to exclude one value from a range of values, this becomes much harder. It would be handy to make it so that you can also enter the value which needs to be excluded from the cube. Best scenario would be to make it so that you can configure this the same way as a prefilter for example. You might want to filter specific values based on the cube view that’s enabled and filter other values (or not filter at all) when another cube view is enabled.
As Arjan Sollie once described in his blog on the use of cross database scripts on Microsoft Azure, it is not possible to select data from different databases than the current active transaction database. To enable this, Microsoft SQL has a feature called ‘External Datasources’. With this enabled, a ‘fake table’ is created in the your database that points to it's external source database. Unfortunately, we cannot model external data tables and sources in the Software Factory. It would be great if we could configure tables in the data model of the Software Factory which were ‘external tables’. When adding such a table, a datasource is mandatory. When we can model the external table, that means we can also create screens and model other settings in the subjects. This is ideal when data needs to be maintained in a master data project for example, but can be used in other projects.
Hello, if i look at our docs page, the following is stated: "The ID of the document that has to be closed. If this process action is not a start action, then the value of this parameter will be used to determine which document must be closed. "https://docs.thinkwisesoftware.com/docs/sf/process_flows.html#close-documentFrom this you can deduce that a close document step can be modelled as a start action of a process flow. But I cannot get this to work. Is this possible or not?
I’ve created a process flow which does work in the master screen, but won’t fire in the popup screen. Maybe it’s possible to make this configurable, where you can check in what screen type (zoom, popup, master etc.) the process flow must be triggered.
Hello,Currently, when i create a badge control procedure, the checkbox ‘Badge’ under Performance on the subject is automatically checked, but the checkbox ‘Show badge’ on the main subject is not automatically checked. Is there a reason why this is the default action? Wouldn’t it make much more sence to just automatically check the ‘Show badge’ box as well?
Currently, when a subject displays more then five tasks with icons, the icons are hidden and the title of the task is shown. When contexts are used to hide certain tasks in certain conditions, icons keep disappearing and reappearing which results in odd behavior. I'd prefer to make this configurable or to cut off the text by default, but not hide the icon. The icon (when chosen correctly) is meaningful for the tasks and when available, an end user which has become familiar with these icons, is thrown off when trying to search for it...
