There is a mystic black and white creature within the Thinkwise ecosystem. It's name known to developers as ‘WebServiceBarcodeGenerator’, well there goes mystic.. Bad jokes aside, this is a powerful feature for the type of applications which are build within the Thinkwise ecosystem. Think of warehouse management systems or supplier portals who need to print customer specific labels. Therefore, I would like to propose the idea of making this a process action. What does it do? It can generate barcodes based on several input parameters. One parameter that holds for all, is the text that needs to be presented in the barcode. Type of barcodes:Code 128 Input paramaters width add whitespaces to left/right (quietzones) Returns type of file [png/gif/jpeg] (binary) Datamatrix Input paramaters ModuleSize Margin around the matrix type of datamatrix SchemeAscii SchemeAsciiGS1 (Default) SchemeAutoBest SchemeAutoFast SchemeBase256 SchemeC40 SchemeEdifact SchemeT
I was trying to use the Microsoft SQL Server system data type Hierarchyid. This data type is extremely useful for data that contains some kind of hierarchy. For example multi level BOM structures. However, when I set up a domain as a DTTP my context couldn't handle it and later on the mobile GUI wouldn't even start since it couldn't handle this data type(said the error log). My question is if someone can confirm that this data type is not supported by the GUI's (Web, Windows and Mobile)? If so I will submit an idea with further explanation why I think this is a useful feature. See this link for more information about the data type: Hierachyid
I would like to use the task logic type 'windows command' in combination with powershell to execute the following command: [Environment]::GetFolderPath('MyDocuments'). In powershell this will retrieve the MyDocuments path and it should be passed into an output variable so I can use it in a processflow. Is this possible?
In an application, we want the end user to be able to make a selection of documents and download these files accordingly. We use a process flow to make this happen. When a user selects a couple of documents they should be copied to the download or document directory of the end user that executes the process flow. However the current process flow connectors do not support environment variables, like %userprofile%\Documents or %temp%. This would give us the opportunity to move files from a connected file share to the document folder of the end user. This would be a nice extension, since it creates a user friendly experience for the end user.
What are the conditions under which the buttons in the remote folder control are available? In my case I have the exact same rights in two different folders, however in one of two folders the remote folder control will let me use the buttons and in one folder it doesn't. I can use the functionality if I first move the folder with the move folder connector in a process flow and then open the location using the remote folder control. Still, the rights are completely the same.
