Your input is very valuable to us. That is why you can share your ideas for improving the Thinkwise Platform.
Tip
Don't just collect votes for your own ideas, but also vote for ideas you would like to see implemented from other users. This way, the best ideas emerge.
What to take into account before submitting your idea?
Check for similar ideas
Always check if someone has already submitted a similar idea. If so, you can support this idea by voting for it. You can also reply explaining your use case as an extra argument as to why it should be implemented.
Submit one idea at a time
Do not submit multiple ideas to one topic. With only one idea at a time, it remains clear to other users what they are voting for. Submitting ideas is free, so don't hold back to submit multiple of them.
Provide a detailed description
Describe your idea in as much detail as possible. It makes it more likely that everyone will know what you mean and increases the chance that someone will vote for it. We will assess if it properly covers:
- Need: what could be improved?
- Use case: when and how often is this needed?
- Suggested solution: how would you like to see this implemented functionality-wise?
How do we evaluate your idea?
Assessing your idea
The Thinkwise product development team strives to assess all new ideas once a week. When assessing your idea, there are a few criteria that we take into account:
- The extent to which it meets the aspects as mentioned above: there is no similar idea already present, it does not consist of multiple ideas, and it has a detailed description containing the required information;
- The extent to which it fits in our product strategy.
Placing your idea on our backlog
Even though the number of votes is an important factor, there are several criteria that we take into account before placing your idea on our backlog:
- The number of votes: not only the number of individual user votes, but also the number of unique company votes;
- The estimated value it returns to all our users;
- The strategic priorities for the product;
- The estimated complexity and duration of the implementation;
- The dependencies between our products.
But my idea was first!
The moment on which your idea is submitted is not a factor in our assessment and placement on our backlog. Sometimes, an older idea may fit well in one of the projects on our roadmap. And vice versa, even though it has been open for a while and would certainly be interesting to implement, it may be surpassed by other ideas based on our criteria.
