In our application we use tasks with process flows, which open a certain document. In a lot of cases we have to use a filter action after opening the document to only show the data which is needed. Because these are two different actions, the application has to do a ‘select’ two times. It would be nice if there was a possibilty to directly apply a filter in the open document action, so that there is only one ‘select’ needed. This would help our performance.
In our application we have a screen with multiple detail tabs. On the main table (Structuur), which is on the left of the screen, we have a task with a processflow, which in the end refreshes the screen. When we start the task while the fourth detailtab is activated (in this case Analyseren), it jumps back to the first detailtab (Extern) when the screen has been refreshed. It would be nice if the activated tab before refresh would stay activated.
I have had a few occassions in which it would be helpful to be able to manipulate prefilters / look-up settings. For example, I have a view which shows relationships of a selected relation. In the first column you have to select the kind of relationship, for example ‘employee’ or ‘competitor’. The second column is meant to select the relation. In this case, the relation look-up always shows all relations, which makes it possible to select a company as an employee and a person as a competitor. This could be solved if there was a possibility to change the prefilters depending on the context. Another possibility to solve this would be to be able to change look-up references: changing look-up table variant depending on the context.
