When you need the available space to show the pivot table or chart, but you want the user to be able to drag&drop cube fields, it would be nice if you could hide the pivot table fields by default and only show them when requested. Just like you hide the menu (unpin).
The task update active directory group fills the active directory parms (see attachment) in the default. When this task is executed for all rows then all user groups are updated with the same active directory settings. In the 2024.1 version of the platform the settings of the task will change to ‘popup for each row’. Now this will solve the issue of overriding all active directory settings, but then I will have to insert user name and password for each row.It would be easier if the active directory settings could be edited in the form. When needed the task could show the active directory parameters, but not change them. In this way I only have to enter the user name and password once.
I would like to build a cube view in the SF the same way as in the end application by drag & drop fields as row, column, data or filter. Now I'm creating an example cube view in the end application and fill the cube fields the same way in the SF. A preview on the development database would make it even better.
I like the way date related cube fields are created. But I'm not happy with the result. For instance we never use quarters. I would like year-month-day (without quarter). Another issue is the week number related to the year (1 jan 2022 results in week 52 in year 2022). Now I have to solve this in the view and use for instance a date table. I would like to have the possibility to change the way, date related cube fields are created. Maybe with a predefined setting (extended property). Then I could just use the task to generate a cube with the date related cube fields I need (low code).
I would like to show multiple cube views on one screen. With the ability to relate each cube view to a screen component (e.g. view group, like detail group for details). The data should only be retrieved once from the database (performance, like switching between cube views).
I would like to be able to select a time frame in a calendar and add an appointment.Another feature could be to drag&drop a certain type of appointment from a list into the calendar at a specific time. At this moment it is only possible to drop it in the resource bar. (see https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ez51JApnDK4).
One of our users came up with the idea to save the last 10 search requests in the global filter. When clicking on the global filter(?), you should be able to pick one of the last requests (like google search).
I would like to have more control over the detail tabs of a cube. When I select a group or a group total, the context procedure should only give the values for the group and NULL values for the other parameters. This makes it possible to control what detail tab to show.
