Hello, we have recently started using the latest version of the SF and are extremely happy with the ease of branching and merging and are trying to ensure stability with unit tests and smoke tests.
Currently, a branch can be merged into the trunk without having to do any validation. We would like to make running validations part of the merge process, as is currently done in the upgrade process. At the moment this is already possible of course, but it would be more convenient to see the merge sessions on one screen.
Personally, we would at least like to see if there are unfinished/failed unit tests, if there are unfinished/failed smoke tests and if there are control procedures that are still under development/in review.
