For almost all actions in the SF you can use ctrl+enter to execute/save your changes. However for Code Search this currently is Alt+S. This is counterintuitive and could be more user friendly.

Hi Harry,
The shortkey Control+Enter is not available for tasks as it is a reserved shortkey by the GUI. However, we could investigate using a handler or process flow to allow Ctrl+Enter to work. Not all users use the shortkey to save a record so we have to keep that in mind.
Nice idea though!
In the 2024.2, we have updated the shortcut for the task “Search code” to Ctrl + Enter, to better reflect its function of confirming a search query rather than manipulating data.
Hope this helps!
Due to unforeseen impact during testing, we're reverting this change made in the 2024.2 release. The idea will return to the "Planned" status. We'll investigate the issue further and aim to include it in the 2024.3 release if possible.
Sorry for the inconvenience.
