Hi All, We want to create a new app for getting Applicants to submit their details for job postings we have within the Group.The process that will be followed is first the applicant is reviewed and secondly upon approval they can get further access to complete their profile putting more details. If an applicant is Approved to be a suitable candidate for a position then he will be transfered to our main system for hiring process and further checks.I know we can have OPENID providers configured in IAM and we can do auto-provisioning, basically they can authenticate with the external provider and we can add them to a default User group. We have currently this configured for our main system with Azure which auto provisions new users within our organization. How can I achieve auto-provisioning for creating IAM users to a default user group? the users will not be part of our organization thus we need them as IAM users instead of External connected to an OPENID provider. Hi all,This is essentially a follow up question to this topic SSRS Server Report | Thinkwise Community (thinkwisesoftware.com). Currently my main goal is to deploy variants of a report. In SF when adding a ‘SSRS (server)’ report you must enter a path. But I have a reporting server that has multiple directories for different clients and these dirs contain variants of the same report. I.e.: different logos in the variants for each client. Now I want to find a way to update the path to these reports when deploying. I did see a report table in the IAM database where I can possibly update the path, but is this recommended?Can anyone suggest other solutions? Thanks!
I have a view with different columns, including a date column (date of birth). In the view, this column has a value, but when I do an export, this column is empty.Domain is date, like in the table. If I do an export of the source table with the date of birth, the data is available in that export.Why is a date not exported from a view?

However, there is another account associated with the same email address, "abc@de.nl."It seems that with the latest version of Indicium, Person X is unable to log in to the account using the username "abc@de.nl." Hi all,I deployed an upgrade to an end application. Ever since, some of the reports (Crystal Reports) do not work anymore on users’ systems. The platform version has remained stable.During development and while testing no problems occurred. It turns out that having SQLServer Management Studio installed is required for a working report.Without the management studio, Crystal Reports refuses to connect to the database.I imagine that installing the management studio provides additional database drivers, without which the CR runtime is not able to connect to the database.I have not been able to figure out which installable drivers the reports depend on, where to find such a driver, and why this is a problem all of a sudden.One thing could be that development is done against a more recent SQLServer version, as we do not have access to post end-of-life databases for development. Hello,I have a handler functionality that gets fired when a record update is executed in a grid (by clicking the save icon).Since the handler contains multiple logical steps and will soon get convoluted, I was wondering if there is a way to model this functionality in a process flow - it would provide a better overview of the functionality with its actions and decisions.I tried implementing such a process flow, using the “Edit Row” and “Grid Edit” actions that led to a “Start Task” action (containing a template with the whole handler functionality as a test), but with no success. Our users are logged in through various methods. Some have managed systems, others log in via RDP. Sometimes a user has their files synced with Onedrive, others have a profile folder on a shared drive via redirection. This leads to reports with export to pdf setting being saved in various locations.For a process flow we were able to program one of these file paths by putting a username variable as part of the path but this renders the flow unusable for quite a few of our users. The flow uses a move file action but it often can't find the exported pdf file. Therefor we need a more generic approach.What folder does the export to pdf option use internally to determine where to save a file? I've tried %USERPROFILE%\Documents but already in my own case this leads me to the wrong folder.

I have a screen where people can add attachments. In this case an '.msg’ file has been added. When clicking on the row, the following error comes up: This does not happen on all computers where the application is used.This is the screentype we have created for this part of the screen, which contains the 'Preview component’ to show the content.The error does not show up when other files are being used, for example a .png file.On the computers which have this problem Outlook is installed, also the preview in Windows Explorer does work: I suspect the customer has prevented the use of some files which Thinkwise needs to preview this type of files, but I don't know what files is needs.How can I solve this problem, of where do I need to look to find the solution?
If the user doesn't login within 4 minutes on the login screen, the redirect is lost and the user gets the “Indicium is running”-page. We have received multiple emails from confused users because the 'Indicium is running' page does not provide any further instructions on how to proceed. Reproduction steps: From any app, go to the login-page (This is a request with a redirect URL) Stay on the page for longer than 4 minutes Fill in the correct credentialsExpected flow: User is redirected to the redirect url that is provided with the initial requestCurrent flow: User is redirected to the root URL of the indicium and sees a page with “Indicium is running” Additional technical information:The cookie: “CookieTempDataProvider” has an expiration date of 4 minutes in the future. I'm looking for a simple way to process barcodes read with a wireless barcode scanner. I can configure the barcode scanner in such a way that it sends a TAB after every barcode that is read.I have already tried to get it done with a table task and also with a detail form with auto save option. Both solutions do not work flawlessly.A multi-line field could also be possible, but the GUI expects an ALT+TAB at the end of each line.What is the best approach for an application running the Windows GUI?
Hi!I’ve checked the community regarding refreshing tables in process flows. But I could not find a solution which complies with the wishes of our users.Our users mostly work in the windows GUI. One of the processes includes a view with a task. A pop-up containing another view appears after the user clicks on the table task. When the user is done with the pop-up, it is closed automatically. The previously mentioned view is still present after the pop-up is automatically closed. But I want to refresh that view. I have tried the following:Open document (try to use an existing tab = yes). Change filter (to open the record) Activate detail Refresh tableThis does work. But is not practical because it clears the filters applied by the user. It also takes some time because it tries to re-open the view. Auto refresh is also not very practical in our case because the view can vary from a couple of records to thousands. Can you help me finding a solution which might be faster and does not clear t

Hello, I have created a basic database image upload functionality and I want to know if there is a possibility to switch from the database blob to azure blob storage depending on the image size. I saw that on the file storage locations you can pre-define a max size in MB.What I want is to have that set up to a limit and if my picture exceed the limit, I want it to be automatically saved in azure blob and not in the database. For example if I set up the file storage location to my database and I set up the limit on 5 MB and I try to upload a picture bigger than that I want the picture to be sent in azure blob storage and not in database.For azure I have also set up a file storage location and I don't know if I can make them work together.

So we have this fancy way of letting our customers upload documents into our application. We then try to show them a preview when possible in the preview component. If said preview is not possible to generate a message will appear according to the documentation: “If a preview cannot be generated for a file, the preview component will state 'No preview is available'.”Now things do get hairy sometimes – when a “.msg” is uploaded, there is currently no way to determine what kind of file this is, it can be an email, an appointment, a note or any other kind of thing. When you are familiar with the msg extension, you probably are aware that this can be any kind of Outlook item. Hi,We have made a screentype, similar to master-detail, that is normally used from a menu item and consists of a grid for the master and a tabs for the details including searching and filtering. When we use this subject in a lookup, it will use the screentype defined as the popup screentype when using the magnifier glass. This popup is however a bit limited because it has a fixed size (which can be changed with extended properties, but only for all popups) and it still includes searching and filtering. When we open a document in a process, so not from the menu, it will also open the document using the main screentype, including the grid. Within the process however we already know the specific instance which makes the grid not relevant and we would rather use another screentype which directly shows the details of the master with related child tabs (like in the popup, but then as a regular tab).So the questions is if another screentype can be used from within a process or maybe some othe

Hi, When I have a table Activity with a connecting table to Item. This is the table Activity_item. Since I can connect several items to several activities. The connection table has 2 columns, activity_id and item_id, both the pk. The end user however would like to see more data from the item_table weight, owner, position, etc. Currently we can one get this data by creating a view from the connection table, join the tables and show all data needed. This is quite unpractical. What other ways would be possible to solve this, since connecting tables will (almost) always need more data from the other tables. I do not want to save duplicate data of course.. Thanks! Blommetje

One way to achieve that is enabling multiple OpenID providers, allowing our Crew to use their personal email and password. Quite some of our Crew use a Yahoo account. Does anyone have experience with setting up Yahoo as OpenID provider? Either in Thinkwise IAM or in Microsoft Azure AD as B2B or B2C Identity provider?If so, could you please share your experiences and particularities that you encounter?
