We have a task with a barcode as the last parameter that is scanned using an externally connected barcode scanner:According to the documentation, the task should submitted directly, but that doesn't happen.How do I get this working?
Hi,We have a csv file with semicolon seperated data.When importing this file into our Thinkwise application it interprets e.g. 20.88 as 20.880,00 aka 20880 which is a bit too much 🤐Thinkwise doesn't look at the Windows settings because I can replicate the issue on mu PC except that Excel shows it correctly while on the customer pc Excel also messes it up.On my PC: Any suggestions on how to deal with this? Is there an option that we have missed to force the decimal separator?
Can’t we have a setting in IAM on user level where we can setup the Universal session Time Out for a user. There are user groups, like engineers, warehouse people, (truck) drivers who are not using an application all day long but only a few times per day. They need to login again and open their windows (Documents) and filters which they had open when they left the device. These people are not office workers but need to do some actions in an application during the day. It’s a horror for them if they need to re-open al the windows and setting the filters they had opened in the morning.
Hi,I was wondering if it's possible to disable the ‘auto selection’ of a row in Universal. This in part with auto-edit/save enabled can lead to wrongful data entries by accident without even noticing (fat finger mistakes).In the Windows GUI this behavior already exists. Even if auto-edit is enabled the user has to knowingly click on a row to ‘activate’ it for auto-editing. I've looked into the available extender properties but to no avail. Thanks!
I have a multi row task that starts a process flow. This process flow executes HTTP requests for the selected rows. Now I want to show progress (tsf_send_progress), but this progress is not shown in the Windows GUI. When I look in the debug tab I can see the messages are sent.How can I show progress?
I am trying to import data from an excel-file, using the universal gui. This works, but certain records contain an end_date. These records are rejected by the import-module.I have been checking for constraints, data-type, triggers and handlers, but nothing seems to work. I have another date-column (start_date) and that works fine, so it looks some functionality is blocking the insert. So, my main question is: when importing data, what functionality is applied to the records:triggers? handlers? constraints? defaults? lay / ctx ? anything else?I just want to know where to look for the problem.
HI!I have an issue with displaying the data in a cell. We created a report in DevExpress and want to make it displayable in an excel sheet. All data is shown correctly in every cell. However in one cell the data is cut off and not all data is visible.The cell has the options 'Can shrink', 'Can grow', 'Multiline' and 'Word Wrap' enabled.What can I do to ensure that the entire text is visible?Attached are printscreens of the report.Kind regards,Linde
We have a TW app running in Azure.For the case a password needs to be reset we want to start using the Forgot password feature: However the feature simulates to work for non-existing names (claims to have sent a token), but returns an error on valid accounts (email address).No mails are sent so no reset is possible. Pagination in Universal is a nice new feature in 2024.1.13. However, it appears that the number of pages for a table is maximized to the modeled number of "max no. of records" for a table.For performance reasons with the Windows Gui, we have provided some tables with a maximum number of records, but in Universal this is not necessary with pagination.It is even inconvenient because some of the records are no longer accessible.Or am I missing something?
Hello, I was referencing this community post Upload multiple files using the Universal GUI to implement the bulk drag and drop file insertion and I have encountered an issue with the target table’s page not being found when I execute the API call.By using an HTTP request platform, I have made the simplest call possible to the table in question (both with and without authentication), for testing purposes, making sure to include the correct URL (the pattern being “{serverURL}/{appIDorAlias}/{table name}”), however, I always get a 404 status in return.Does this have anything to do with the API endpoint not being visible and/or is there any further configuration that has to be done (in IAM, for instance), or am I simply missing anything? So I have been trying to create this process flow - with the help of some amazing developers at Thinkwise - that checks if there are documents uploaded and based on this decision, show a warning message that the user forgot to upload the documents (don’t show any warning if there are already documents, instead run the main task immediately).So my process flow looks like this (see images through this link https://imgur.com/a/QqBVNpQ). I created a ‘fake’ process action Ready_for_billing_outbound_order (the first one) I give it two output task parameters: outbound_order_id and documents_complete.I linked this to a decision with no input or output, just a functionality (see third image). Based on the if statement, either the warning is shown or the task runs.The problem starts when I try to run a creation, I get error(s) and one of them is: No declarable variable @execute_tab_task_outbound_order_check_show_msg_no_proof_of_delivery_invoiceHow does this process flow work and what do the erro
hi,We use a view in a detail tab where we combine two tables, a record can be added in the row. We use an instead of trigger to insert the records in het underlying tables. After adding the record, the message “saved data can not be displayed on this screen”, but surprise, the new record is shown! Because of the two tables, two primary keys are added in this view, can this be the problem? Should I create a dummy primary key for this view?Anybody an idea how to fix this?
I would like to generate dynamic Crystal Reports, where the customer (not the client which runs the application) can put the RPT files somewhere on disk, and via the Thinkwise Universal API I would like to run that RPT with passing parameters given in the API and save the pdf somewhere. I does not need to open the report itself in the application.For now I need to upload my RPT file in the Software factory and do a deploy each time. This is not realistic as the customer has their own developer and has about 1k reports do change

How do I set the number of copies in a process flow which calls a report. I added the gui_rpt_number_of_copies parameter. I give it a value in the default of the task which triggers the process flow. I added a parameter gui_rpt_number_of_copies in the process flow. The parameter gets its value, but in the report step the parameter is set to 1.
We are trying to import an excel file using the import functionality but we keep getting an error. We created a custom report which results into an export to excel. After editing the excel report, we want to import the excel file again and update the existing rows. However, we get the following error.We also tried to use the export functionality of the Universal GUI, but if we make an edit in the excel file, we get the same error using the import. Do you have any suggestions? We also do not see any errors in indicium error log. We use the current version: Version: 2024.1Build: 11.1 (beta)
Question:What triggers the update application popup? The cause of my question is this. We add or change applications within IAM, but it looks to trigger this update popup even for users which are not affected by the new or changed application.

I have noticed that, sometimes, when a screen has pages, the “Go to row” process action does not work if the record is saved with a custom task on a different page than the one that is opened.For example, now i have the first page opened. If the record is saved on the second one, the focus from “Go to row” is not going to be put on the record.Is there a different way to select a row even if it is on another page?

Hi,I tried to use the use the data sensitivity function in the SF. However, it returned several errors. The initial error in the SF indicated that the database is not in single-user mode. Consequently, I tried to upgrade the database, yet encountered another error similar to the one below. It is an Azure SQL database. What steps can I take to enable single-user mode?
With an HTTP connector within a custom protocol process flow we make a call to an external API and in certain scenarios it returns an expected 404 code as response. How can we ensure that such a 404 response is not written as an error in the Indicium log? We like to keep the log file as clean as possible.

We have a (detail) dataset with 65 rows with x-y coordinates, which we like to show on the map.For some reason only 50 items are visible on the map.Is there a maximum number of markers that can be shown on a (detail) map?
In Universal I now use card lists more and more. These work well in many cases, especially on smaller devices.Users are now asking if it is possible to sort the list.Any idea this option is available to end users?
