We generate XML files in our system. These files currently can be approached by using a task. We have chosen for a task because we want to log all persons approaching the XML. In this task we see the file name and the option to download this file. After pressing the green download button we have to exit the task by pressing 'uitvoeren'. Is it possible to start the downloading of the document the path is referring to automatically instead of pressing the green download button after we opened the task?
When we use the preview component in the web GUI we don' t get the result we expect. Instead we get an error which we can't explain. Do we need to adjust some security settings? To me it looks like the preview component needs to access local file storage.
We created a report in which we want to retrieve some images we uploaded in the application. The images are saved in the application folder where the service account has full rights. We can approach the image in the windows and web GUI by pressing the download button. However, when we create the report the previewer in the Web-GUI seems not to retrieve the image properly. Does the dev-express reporting previewer expect access in a different way in the web-gui? I expect this to be the same for web and windows. webwindows
Is it possible to create a task which opens the import function (ribbon) on a screen for table ‘x’? We want to use the import function but not only on the table itself. If this can be done by a proces flow in which we go from point A to the table where we want to import we will be satisfied.Import button
I need to perform a delete action in a folder on my server, similar to what is described as the process action 'delete file'. Only for me it won't be executed in a process flow. Is it possible to use the same code (call the same procedure) which the process action 'delete file' is using or do i have to write my own call to the command shell.
At times we will generate several documents with the reporting service which we want to print. For one document this can be done manually after the generating. We will open the report and print the document with our standard printer options. (web GUI) This way the document will be printed from our personal account. What if we want to print 100 generated documents at once? We don't want 100 pop-up's to show. Questions: Can the reporting service handle printing in 'bulk' using the follow me printer? Is there a way we can print reports in 'bulk' directly using a task? (web GUI)
One of our customers has the following questions: Is it possible to automatically to sign into the application by using the 'I am a domain user' function? (web based application) What does the function 'I am a domain user' do exactly? Does this query the Active Directory, on one of our remote servers this functionality does not work properly and we might have to set this up correctly.
Will our form filters be available in the Universal GUI?
I get the following message when calling a report: The RPC server is unavailable. - Do you recognise this message? - Is this possible because there is no printer installed on our server?
When we open a look-up we get to see the option ‘Ok’ while there won’t ever be a moment we can use that button when in non-edit mode. We would like to see the button hidden.
