Recently Universal got the filter form, this gives users a powerful way of filtering data. Our users would like to be able to save their created filters and share these with other users. This gives users a way of creating filters they often use without having to ask developers to create prefilters.

When we want to check the Indicium log it will always download the entire log and only way to see if new entries has been added is by downloading the entire file, opening the file and visually check.It would be very convenient to have a screen that shows the last x amount of logs and automatically loads new log lines. (Like the tail command). With an optional button to download the entire file.

How to limit available languages Universal

How can we limit the languages that can be chosen by our users in the language selection dropdown? It shows languages that we have not defined in our model.

Cost management and automatic scaling on Azure

We are running our entire Thinkwise platform in Azure.To keep cost under control we are looking into doing automated scaling of the App Service and Azure SQL. For the App Service this is a really easy story and has no real downsides due to how scaling is handled by AzureOur ideal situation would be to scale based on usage, look at the DTU usage in a sliding window and scale up or down based on the observation. However this leads to challenges/problems, during the scaling operation the connection gets dropped and we have found that currently running scheduled jobs by IAM do not always get recognized as ended/abandoned when the connection is lost. In turn this locks that entire schedule leading to missed job executions etc.Besides IAM not handling it well it also is a challenge/issue for any long running jobs in the application itself. I am curious how others have done this.

Formatting of JSON files in Document Previewer UniversalOpen

We are saving interface messages to file storage and when using the Document Previewer in Universal we get a unformatted string without syntax highlighting. Our workaround is copy pasting the content to Notepad++, it works but ain't pretty. Would be very nice to have a JSON formatter and syntax highlighting build into the Document Preview of Universal.

Benefits Redis Cache outside horizontal scaling

We are in the works of reworking our Azure deployment, cleaning up some of the mess we created while we where still learning etc.We are currently only using a single App Service instance, currently we have no reason to believe this will change soon. Still I was looking at implementing Redis Cache to be ready for the moment we would want to scale horizontally, are there any other benefits to the Redis Cache other than being able to do horizontal scaling?Maybe performance or sessions lasting through app service restarts?

Blob File storage what username do we enter?

Trying to setup Azure Blob as filestorage using managed identity, when creating the filestorage in SF I have to enter a username and path. I assume that the path must be the container nameUsername is a complete riddle to me, when using managed identity there is no username as far I know? Or is this the Azure File Storage accountname?

Set System Versioned (temporal) table retention timeMerged

Having the System Versioned tables is very useful but in many cases it is not required to keep the entire history, often it is enough to keep the historic records of a certain time range. Always keeping the full history is a waste of resources. It would be a good addition to be able to set the required retention time in the model, this would save building custom after upgrade scripts to set the retention time after the fact.

PowerBI OpenID authentication (Azure AD)Open

We are using Azure AD as authentication method for Universal however it is currently not possible to use that same authentication method to connect PowerBI to the oData endpoints.It would be very nice to be able to do so, currently you get this error when clicking “Aanmelden”

Open SQL connections for all scheduled flows

We are getting errors on our Indicium when executing process flows, it seems that Indicium opens a SQL connection for every scheduled process flow.On paper this sounds not to bad but our development environment we run into the limitations of Azure SQL. Azure SQL only has a limited amount of open connections which we are running into on our current tier (which is for all other metrics plenty). Currently it results in SQL errors regarding to many open connections.It also seems a bit strange to have constant open connections even for process flows that might only run once per day, week or even less.

Expand/Collapse tab groups in UniversalMerged

We have some entities with a large number of fields, these are grouped into tab groups which in Universal are shown in sections. Not all sections are always relevant and we would like that users are able to Collapse and Expand these sections, ideally with saving what sections are expanded by the user (just like saving the width of columns in grids).Example how this would look (with some icon added that a section can be expanded):Collapsed: Click on “Product” leads to the section to be extended;

Incorrect $metadata url in oData responses

We are trying to use the oData endpoints to make some PowerBi integrations. We are running into an issue with the $metadata URL. When we call the oData endpoint for any entity ( https://<domain>/indicium/iam/<project>/<entity> ) we get the data back and the $metadata URL (which is required for PowerBI to function). The $metadata URL is incorrect however: https://<domain>/iam/<project>/$metadata#<entity>The /indicium/ is missing in this URL, if I manually add that to the URL it is working ( https://<domain>/indicium/iam/<project>/$metadata#<entity> )This same (erroneous?) behavior is written in the docs: OData API | Thinkwise Documentation (thinkwisesoftware.com)Some environment details:Running in Azure App Service No reverse proxy

High database resource usage for process_flow log cleanup

Our entire Thinkwise stack is running on Azure, this means we try to give resources just enough resources for the expected usage.Recently we started having performance issues on our dev environment, I was able to trace the problem down to the query I included below. It appears to be a clean up for all the process_flow_schedule_logs, this runs every 5 mins and takes on average 40 seconds per run. In this time it caps out our SQL CPU for our plan.The select query is fast, the delete makes it slow. This is as far as I looked as it's IAM but no matter what I feel like there might be some issue here causing the delete to be this slow. (@system_flow_log_retention int)with log_items as ( select log_id from process_flow_schedule_log l where not exists (select 1 from system_flow_excluded_from_log_clean_up s where s.project_id = l.project_id and s.project_vrs_id = l.project_vrs_id
